The brief

About the product

The app is an iOS app for women living with PCOS. Most women with PCOS are told to "lose weight and come back" and are then left to work out the rest alone: irregular cycles, cravings, energy crashes, stubborn weight, acne, hair changes, mood swings, poor sleep, and trouble conceiving. The app brings all of that into one place.

A new user takes a short quiz about her cycle, symptoms, cravings, energy, sleep, stress and goals. The app turns her answers into a personalized daily plan with cycle and symptom tracking, food and protein guidance, movement, and small daily habits for stress and sleep. The plan is built around how PCOS shows up for her, not a generic diet.

Who it's for: women roughly 18–40 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Some are diagnosed with PCOS, some strongly suspect it, and many are tired of being dismissed and want something practical they can do today.

Why your audience will care: PCOS affects around 1 in 10 women, and they are one of the most engaged and most underserved communities on social media. They save, share and comment on anything that makes them feel seen. If you have PCOS yourself, or you speak to women's health, hormones, wellness, fitness, food or "that girl" routines, this content fits your feed naturally.

What you'll do

Create short-form vertical videos (15–60 seconds) for [TikTok / Instagram Reels] that make women with PCOS stop scrolling, feel understood, and want to try the app.

  1. The hook is everything (the first 3–5 seconds)

This is the one requirement we won't compromise on. If the first 3–5 seconds don't stop the scroll, nothing after them matters. Views are what pay both of us, and the hook decides the views.

A strong hook does at least one of these:

  • Calls out the viewer directly: "If you have PCOS and you're exhausted by 2pm, watch this."
  • Says the thing she has felt but never heard out loud: "My doctor told me to just lose weight. That was the whole appointment."
  • Opens a curiosity gap: "Nobody told me my cravings were a PCOS symptom, not a willpower problem."
  • Shows something visual in the first frame, such as on-screen text, the app on screen, or a reaction, and not a slow "hey guys" intro.

Put the hook on screen as text as well as saying it, because many people watch on mute. Don't show a logo or introduce yourself before the hook. If you aren't sure about a hook, film two or three versions of the opening for the same video; we're happy to tell you which we think is strongest.

  1. Call out different audiences

You don't have to talk to "women with PCOS" as one group. Specific call-outs perform better because the right viewer feels the video was made for her. You're free to target:

  • Life stage: teens and college students, women in their 20s, women trying to conceive, postpartum moms, women in their 30s and 40s.
  • Situation: newly diagnosed, undiagnosed but suspicious, "lean PCOS", just came off birth control, tried everything and gave up.
  • Lifestyle: busy moms, nurses and shift workers, gym girls, students on a budget.
  • Ethnicity and culture: PCOS shows up differently across communities, and many women never see themselves in PCOS content. Examples include South Asian women, Black women, Latinas, and Middle Eastern women. Please only make these call-outs from your own identity and lived experience. That is what makes them land, and it keeps them respectful and not stereotyped.
  1. Pick any solution the app offers, one or many

The app helps with several problems, so you aren't locked into one angle. Choose whichever is true for you and your audience:

  • Irregular or unpredictable cycles, and finally understanding your pattern
  • Cravings and blood sugar crashes
  • Low energy and fatigue
  • Weight that won't move despite "doing everything right"
  • Acne, hair thinning, unwanted hair growth
  • Mood, anxiety, stress and sleep
  • Trying to conceive with PCOS
  • The mental load of tracking everything in five different apps or a notes file

You decide the structure. You can cover everything in one "here's what finally helped my PCOS" video, or split it into a series with one video per symptom or per audience. A series usually gives you more chances for a video to take off, but do whatever suits your style. More views is better for both of us, so we trust your instincts about your own audience.

  1. Formats that tend to work
  • Storytime: your PCOS journey, the moment you felt dismissed, and what changed
  • "Things nobody told me about PCOS" lists
  • Day-in-my-life or morning routine with the app woven in naturally
  • A screen recording of you taking the quiz and reacting to your plan
  • Myth-busting ("No, PCOS isn't just about weight")
  • Green screen or stitch reacting to a PCOS statistic or a relatable comment
  • "POV: you finally have a plan that's made for PCOS"
  1. Show the app and tell people what to do next
  • Show the app on screen for at least a few seconds, whether that's the quiz, your plan or the tracking.
  • End with one clear call to action: [take the free quiz at the link in bio / download the app on the App Store].
  • Use your unique link or code [if applicable] so your results are tracked to you.
  1. Posting frequency

Posting consistently matters more than any single perfect video; creators who post regularly almost always out-earn those who post once.

  1. What you get from us
  • Free premium access to the app so you can use it for real before filming
  • A brief with proven hooks, talking points and angles you can adapt, but no word-for-word scripts, because it should sound like you
  • App screenshots, screen recordings and the logo
  • Quick feedback on hooks or drafts whenever you want it
  1. Rules that protect you and us

The app is a health app, so the platforms and advertising rules are strict. Breaking these gets videos taken down and accounts flagged.

  • Don't say the app cures, treats, reverses or diagnoses PCOS. Say it helps you manage, understand, track or build habits around it.
  • Don't promise specific results ("lose 20 lbs", "get pregnant in 3 months") and don't use before/after body claims.
  • Don't tell viewers to stop medication or ignore their doctor.
  • Speak from personal experience ("what helped me") and not as medical advice, unless you are a qualified professional and say so.
  • Disclose the partnership with #ad or the platform's paid partnership label, as the law requires.
  • Use only original content and music or sounds you're allowed to use commercially.
  • Don't buy views or use bots; payouts are based on real views only.
