Pyramid ranking trend

What it is

This format uses an older sound that's making a comeback. The audio ranks different things from the bottom of the pyramid to the top, with the best one getting the final spot. Creators can rank pretty much anything: apps, products, websites, tools, or even outfits.

Why it works

It's super simple but still keeps people watching. Viewers want to see what makes it to the top, and the final reveal feels satisfying. Creators can feature a product without making the video feel like a typical ad.

Editing: Match each reveal to the sound, one item at a time from the bottom up. A laptop, cards, sticky notes, whatever fits the creator's style.
Hook: Open with a clear ranking statement: “Ranking the websites I would use if I were writing my dissertation again.”
Emotion: Funny, opinionated, a little dramatic. The ranking sparks debate when viewers disagree with the top pick.
