Creator marketplace jobs

Post jobs on the Canvas UGC marketplace, review creator applications, and hire creators into your campaigns.

The Canvas UGC marketplace turns creator sourcing around: instead of hunting for creators, you post a job and creators apply to you. Open Jobs to post a job, manage existing postings, and review applications. The marketplace is in public beta and available to every workspace, and every plan includes unlimited job listings and unlimited applicants.

For the strategy behind sourcing and shortlisting, see the creator sourcing workflow.

The Jobs page lists your postings with their status, job type, creator requirements, and pay components.

Post a job

Click Create Job to open the job sheet. It walks you through seven steps:

  1. Product: the product or brand the job is about, with title, description, niches, content formats, and logo.
  2. Creator Requirements: countries of residence, languages, and minimum age. These decide which creators the job matches.
  3. Job Type & Commitment: the job type and the expected weekly hours.
  4. Content Volume: videos per week, platform focus, account type, and example videos.
  5. Application Challenge: an optional sample-video task for applicants.
  6. Payment: the currency and the pay components you offer.
  7. Job Description: the public brief creators read before applying.

A new job starts as a draft, so you can save it, review it, and launch when the posting is ready.

The Create Job sheet collects the product, requirements, job type, volume, challenge, payment, and description in seven steps.

Choose the job type

The job type tells creators what kind of work you are hiring for:

  • Canvas UGC: creators post on brand-owned or ambassador accounts. The most common posting type.
  • Influencer: creators post on their own accounts to their own audience.
  • UGC Ads: creators produce ad creatives for your paid campaigns.
  • Creator Manager: an operator who manages creators for you instead of producing content, so this type skips the Content Volume step.

Set the pay

The Payment step supports four pay components, and you can combine any of them in one job:

  • Flat salary: a fixed amount per pay period.
  • Per video: a fixed amount for each video.
  • CPM: pay per thousand views, so pay scales with performance.
  • Bonus: a fixed reward when a video reaches a view threshold.

Pay is visible on the public posting. Clear rates attract applications from creators who accept your terms before the first message.

Manage the job lifecycle

Jobs move between three statuses: draft, public, and paused. A draft is only visible to your team. Launch Job publishes it to the marketplace, Pause Job hides it from creators without losing its applications, and Resume Job makes it public again.

Use Edit Job to change a posting and Duplicate Job to reuse a posting as the starting point for a new one. Duplicating is useful when you hire for several markets with the same brief.

Review applications

Open Applications to review who applied. Applications are grouped into Open, In Review, and Closed tabs, and each application carries a status: Open, In Review, Accepted, Rejected, Withdrawn, or Auto-closed.

Every application includes the creator's full profile: portfolio videos, connected social accounts, languages, and location. If the job includes an application challenge, the submitted sample video is part of the application, so you judge real work instead of a resume.

The Applications table groups applicants by status and opens each creator's full profile, portfolio, and chat from the row.

Chat with applicants

Reply to an application directly from its row to start a conversation. Use chat to ask follow-up questions, negotiate rates, and align on the brief before you accept, then keep using the same conversation after hiring. See Creator chat for filters, read states, and notifications.

Hire creators into campaigns

Accepting an application creates the creator record in Creators for you. From there, the marketplace hire works like any other creator: assign the creator to campaigns, track their content, and review their payouts.

Connect the payout integration

Creators hired through the marketplace are paid through the integrated payout system. Connect the payout integration once (a single business verification) and every hire is payable in a click, with automated creator invoicing, KYC, and payouts in 50+ currencies.

Marketplace payouts carry an end-to-end payout management fee of 3%. That fee is the trade for unlimited job listings, unlimited applicants, and the full payout stack. Posting jobs and receiving applications costs nothing extra on any plan.

Plan limits and privacy

Job listings and applicants are never capped. The limit that applies is active creators, meaning the creators you actively work with: 10 on Pro, 50 on Ultra, and 500 on Scale.

Creators you invited to your own workspace stay private. They are only discoverable on the marketplace if they join it themselves, so your roster is never visible to other brands.
