The Canvas UGC Marketplace Is Live: Post a Job, Creators Apply

Finding creators used to be your job. Scout them platform by platform, build a shortlist in a spreadsheet, send cold DMs, wait. The Canvas UGC marketplace flips that: you post a job, and creators apply to you.

The marketplace finished its rollout to every workspace on August 12 and is live in public beta. Job posting shipped on August 3; applications are now open, and the first creators are building their profiles.

Here is the full flow, from posting a job to paying the person you hire.

Post a Job

Job posting lives under Jobs in Creator Hub. Pick one of four job types: Canvas UGC, Influencer, UGC Ads, or Creator Manager. Set your terms and publish. Posting costs nothing beyond the subscription you already have; your plan sets how many jobs may be live at the same time.

Published jobs appear on the marketplace job board, where creators see listings matched to their country and languages.

The job board creators see: published jobs with rates and job type badges.

Review Applications With the Full Profile Attached

Applications land under Jobs → Applications. Every application carries the creator's full profile: portfolio videos, connected social accounts, languages, and location.

That changes how you evaluate. Instead of weighing a pitch message, you watch the work a creator has published. Judge work, not promises.

Every applicant arrives with portfolio videos, connected accounts, languages, and location attached.

Chat Before and After You Hire

Move any applicant into a conversation in Creator Hub → Chat. Negotiate rates, ask questions, and if you want to meet the person before the deal, send a cal link for a quick call. The conversation does not end at hiring: the same chat carries you through onboarding the creator into your campaigns and everything that comes after.

On contracts: a platform-native contract builder based on your campaign terms is coming. Until then, use your own contracts and share them in chat.

One chat thread per creator, from first message through campaign onboarding.

Pay Every Hire in a Click

Marketplace hires are paid through the integrated payout system, built with our payout partner Talentir. You verify your business once, then every payment to every hire is a click.

What the payout stack handles for you:

  • global Merchant of Record
  • fully automated creator invoicing
  • automated KYC and compliance monitoring
  • payouts in 50+ currencies
  • bank transfer, PayPal, Venmo, and USDC withdrawals
  • 0% account top-up fees
Set up your payout account once, then pay every marketplace hire in a click.
How the 3% fee works
The end-to-end payout management fee of 3% is the marketplace's only fee. In exchange, applicants stay unlimited on every plan, and the full payout stack comes with it: invoicing, compliance monitoring, and global transfers.

Once a hire is in your campaigns, the payout rules you already use apply. See performance-based creator payouts for how that side works.

For Creators

Browse the open jobs on the public UGC jobs board first: each one shows its pay and requirements. Then sign up as a creator, build your profile, and apply to jobs matched to your country and languages. When a brand accepts your application, the conversation continues in chat, and you claim your payouts in the dashboard. The more complete your profile, with portfolio videos and connected accounts, the easier it is for a brand to say yes.

Your Creators Stay Your Creators

If you have invited creators to your own workspace, they stay private. They do not appear on the marketplace and other brands cannot discover them. A creator only becomes visible on the marketplace by joining it themselves.

Plans and Limits

Applicants are unlimited on every plan. Plan limits apply to how many jobs may be live at the same time and to active creators, meaning the creators you work with, not the applications you receive:

  • Pro: 1 live job, 10 active creators
  • Ultra: 2 live jobs, 50 active creators
  • Scale: 3 live jobs, 500 active creators

You can collect every application your live jobs attract, and none of it counts against your limit until you start working with someone. Pausing a job frees its slot right away.

What's Next

The marketplace is in public beta, and we are treating it that way. Creator onboarding started at launch, and the network is growing toward 10,000+ creators. Matching and ranking improvements ship over the coming weeks, along with the contract builder mentioned above.

Because the marketplace is young, early jobs face little competition for applicants. That advantage fades as more brands post. If you have a job in mind, publish it now.
