A video by the gig, or a creator paid on views

Both get you UGC. The difference is what a payment buys. On Fiverr you buy a gig: a Basic, Standard or Premium package at the seller's price, with a delivery time and a number of revisions fixed before you pay. You pay upfront, the freelancer delivers a video file, and once you accept it the order is complete. A video that gets 500 views costs the same as one that gets 500,000. On viral.app you agree base pay plus pay on views, creators post week after week, every post is tracked, and the pay follows the views.

Who Fiverr is great for

Fiverr's UGC Videos category lists 23,000+ gigs, rated 4.9 on average from about 100,000 reviews, by its own count. It fits best when:

On the 48 best-selling UGC gigs, starting prices ran from €10 to €350, as shown to a visitor in Germany; half sat between €28 and €94, and 37 started under €100. Fiverr says prices in other currencies follow the US dollar price and can change daily, and in some regions the listed price already includes its service fee. If buying finished videos is the whole job, Fiverr belongs on your list, along with Upwork for hourly or fixed-price contracts, Billo for UGC ad videos at a set price each, and Clip for vetted creators at a set price per video. Who pays the fees on a $100 gig

Fiverr charges on both sides of an order: a service fee added to your payment, and 20% kept from the freelancer's earnings. Its own help articles disagree on the small-order fee, so both versions are shown. viral.app charges 3% on your side only.

Fiverr's client guide (September 2026) puts the extra fee at $3 on orders under $100; its payments article (August 2026) says $3.50 on orders under $200. Both put the service fee at 5.5% of every payment, so extras and tips carry it too. Freelancers then receive 80% of each order after a 14-day clearing period. On viral.app it's 3% on each payout, on your side of the bill, and a creator only pays their own payout method's fee where one applies, such as PayPal.

If you buy only a few videos, Fiverr costs less: with no plan fee, its service fee stays below viral.app Pro's $99 a month plus 3% until you spend about $3,960 a month on $100 gigs, or about $1,650 if the $3.50 small-order fee applies. Keep in mind that the freelancer receives 80% of that spend on Fiverr and 100% on viral.app. There's no cost calculator on this page: Fiverr's cost depends on the size of each order, so the table above and the worked month below do the math.

Plans matched up

Fiverr itself has no subscription. Fiverr Pro, its business account, has two plans: Essential, which is free, and Advanced at $129 a month per team account. viral.app prices by active creators, tracked videos and seats. So the fair match is by price, not by name.

Around these: a regular Fiverr account is free and for one person. Fiverr Pro also sells freelancer sourcing by a domain expert for $199 (two vetted candidates) and end-to-end project management for projects of $3,000 or more, at a fee that falls as the budget grows. viral.app Scale is $499 a month ($399 yearly) for 500 creators and 20,000 tracked videos, with a custom Enterprise plan above it.

When the views set the pay

On Fiverr, a gig's price is settled before the video is filmed, and what the video does afterwards isn't part of the order. On viral.app the views decide the pay, so how they're counted matters. Here is how viral.app counts them, with UGC analytics on every tracked account.
