The short version: pick Veel if you want one subscription for the store side of creator marketing: hire from 550K+ verified creators at their rates, get content with usage rights and licensed music, run affiliates with Shopify codes, put shoppable video on your product pages and auto-post to your channels. Pick viral.app if your creators post every week and you pay them on the views each post earns, with every post tracked on five platforms, plans from $99 and one 3% fee.

We make viral.app, so read this with that in mind. Every Veel fact below comes from Veel's own site, pricing page, FAQs and terms, checked on October 2, 2026, with links at the end; app store ratings and Trustpilot are labeled as such. Where Veel doesn't say something, we write "Not public". Where its own pages disagree, we show both.
Veel pricing in brief: Starter is free for 21 days, then Launchpad is $499, Pro $999 and Elite $2,499 a month, about 20% less billed yearly, with no marketplace fee on your side; creators pay Veel a 2.5% platform fee. Is Veel legit? Yes: Veel Inc. is a San Francisco company whose creator app has been on the App Store since 2023, rated 4.6 from 36 ratings in the US.
Are you a creator? This page is for brands. For paid UGC work in any country, join the Canvas UGC marketplace; if you're weighing the Veel app, the questions at the end cover its fees and payouts.

Veel
A creator suite for your store, or creators paid on views
Both tools find creators, pay them and report on results. The difference is what a payment buys and what the tool is built around. On Veel you hire a creator at their rate, approve the content in the app, and then put it to work: in your content library, on your product pages, in your ads and on your social channels, with affiliate links counting the sales. On viral.app creators keep posting, every post is tracked, and pay follows the views.
Who Veel is great for
Veel says 450+ brands use it and $12M+ has gone to creators through it. It fits best when:
You sell online
Affiliate links and codes per creator, Shopify and other store integrations, shoppable video on product pages and customer video reviews.
You buy content to run as ads
Approval in the app, usage rights and Spark Ads and Meta Advantage+ whitelisting in the creator agreement, and licensed music.
You want storage and posting in one place
A content library on Amazon S3 with sharing and permissions, and auto-posting to Meta, TikTok, YouTube and marketplaces.
It also has a two-sided creator app with an editor and the Veel Wallet, AI that checks videos for authenticity, an AI Marketing Agent that builds campaigns and schedules posts, and a free Starter plan to try a first UGC campaign. If that is your program, Veel is a sound choice. Close alternatives: Insense sells content deal by deal with managed services, Collabstr books creators at a set price per post, and JoinBrands is built for e-commerce and TikTok Shop. The rest of this page is about creators paid on views.
Plans matched up
Veel meters usage credits: one for each campaign, embed or affiliate program you create, with edits and pauses free. Plans also set seats, storage, video playback and AI credits, and Veel doesn't publish a cap on creators. viral.app meters active creators, tracked videos, live jobs and seats. So the fair match is by price and by team. Prices are per month on monthly billing; both take about 20% off on yearly billing.

Elite is $2,499 ($23,999 a year) with 5 seats, up to 10, 300 credits, 5 TB, reports across brands, a dedicated success manager and MCP connections. Enterprise is custom, with SSO, SAML and SCIM, API and webhooks, data residency and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Where Veel's own pages disagree
Some answers depend on which Veel page you read. Ask before you pick a plan:
Global payouts: its compare table ticks them on every plan, Starter included. The Launchpad card and one FAQ put them on Launchpad; its payments FAQ and comparison page say Pro and higher, with Starter limited to local payouts.
Starting price: paid plans start at $499 a month, while its UGC platform comparison page says "starting at $150/month".
Campaign types on Starter: the compare table ticks influencer and partnership campaigns on Starter; the plan cards and FAQ add them from Launchpad.
Limits: Pro storage is 1 TB on the card and table, 2 TB in the FAQ. Pro and Elite get 750 and 1,000 AI credits a month on the cards, 150 and 750 in the table.
Success manager: its comparison page says a dedicated CSM comes with all plans. The plan cards offer a paid one on Launchpad, one on request on Pro and a dedicated one on Elite; the compare table lists none below Enterprise.
Brand count: 450+ brands on most pages, 300+ on its creator plan page.

What each one costs for your program
Set your team, your creators, live jobs, tracked videos and what you pay creators each month. The calculator picks the cheapest plan on each side, fees included. Veel bills by usage credits, seats and storage rather than creators or tracked videos. It doesn't publish a cap on creators, so that limit shows as an open item on its side, and video volume and live jobs only move viral.app's plan. The free Starter is left out because its credits expire after 21 days, and Veel's fee is counted at 0%, as its pricing FAQ says. viral.app's 3% is charged on your side, none of it comes out of creator pay, and every payout comes with its invoices. Creator pay itself is the same with either tool and not in the totals.

From prices checked Oct 2, 2026. Illustrative, not a quote.
At the default of 10 creators, two seats and $5,000 a month in creator pay, viral.app Pro comes to $264 and Veel Pro to $999. Veel is cheaper in one case: one user running more than 50 creators or 5,000 tracked videos, where Launchpad's $499 with no fee on your side beats viral.app Scale at $499 plus 3%. With one seat, up to 50 creators and up to 5,000 tracked videos, viral.app stays cheaper on monthly billing until creator pay passes about $6,700 a month, or $13,300 with up to 10 creators. With two seats, Veel needs Pro at $999, and viral.app stays cheaper until creator pay passes about $16,700 a month, even on Scale.
Two things the totals leave out. Veel's creators pay a 2.5% platform fee out of their pay, so a creator who should net $1,000 costs you about $1,026 on Veel; on viral.app the 3% is yours and the creator keeps the full amount, less any fee for their payout method. And Launchpad has no Performance Analytics or creator insights, and one Veel FAQ puts global payouts on Pro and higher only, which would put a team paying creators abroad on the $999 plan.
The same view-based deal in both tools
On Veel you agree a rate with each creator before they film, and its pages don't describe pay that rises with views. Here is one creator posting about five videos a week on a base plus views deal, term by term. The last row is the reverse: Veel runs affiliate commissions, viral.app doesn't.

to over a billion organic views.”

invoicing and tax accounting.”
Running both, or moving over
You don't have to pick one for everything. Veel is built around the store: content with rights, video on product pages, affiliates and posting. viral.app is built around creators who post every week and get paid on views. Some teams buy content and run affiliates on Veel, and track and pay their posting creators in viral.app, where any public account is tracked from its URL.
Before you move fully: Veel plans renew until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid term (terms, section 6), so export what you need from the content library first. Check your campaign agreements before you move creators you met on Veel.
1
Day 1
Add your creators' accounts
Paste the account URLs, or send us the list and we add them. Nobody has to sign up.
2
Day 1
Write your deals as rules
Base pay per video, CPM tiers and bonuses, tested on recent videos before anyone posts.
3
First week
Hire where you need more
Post a Canvas UGC or Influencer job and invite the highest-ranked matches.
4
After that
Keep Veel for the store side, or cancel
Keep it for content with rights, affiliates and embeds, or cancel; the plan runs to the end of the paid term.
Questions about Veel
Veel is an all-in-one creator marketing suite: a marketplace of 550K+ verified creators, six campaign types, affiliates, shoppable video, a content library and auto-posting, on plans from free to $2,499 a month. viral.app is built for creators who post every week and get paid on views: every post tracked on five platforms, pay worked out from base pay, CPM tiers, bonuses and caps, and compliant payouts in 180+ countries, from $99 a month.
Veel is a creator marketing platform from Veel Inc. in San Francisco. A brand picks a plan and launches a UGC, influencer, partnership, public or creator payout campaign, by hand, with AI or with help from Veel's team. Veel matches it with creators from its network, who apply at their own rates in the Veel app, deliver content you approve in the app, and are paid into their Veel Wallet. Around that it adds affiliate programs, shoppable video for your store, customer video reviews, a content library and auto-posting to your social channels.
Starter is free for 21 days with 5 usage credits. Launchpad is $499 a month, Pro $999 and Elite $2,499, or $4,799, $9,599 and $23,999 a year on yearly billing. Each plan includes usage credits (40, 100 or 300 a month; one per campaign, embed or affiliate program you create), seats, storage and AI credits, and extra seats cost $25 a month on Pro and Elite. Enterprise is priced custom. Creator pay comes on top (checked October 2, 2026). Its comparison page also says plans start at $150 a month, which its pricing page doesn't show. viral.app starts at $99 a month.
Starter is free with no credit card, but its 5 usage credits are valid for 21 days, so it works as a trial: UGC campaigns and affiliate programs with active regional creators, one seat and 25 GB of storage. The full 550K+ creator network and the other campaign types start on Launchpad at $499 a month. viral.app has a 7-day free trial on Pro and Ultra.
Not on the brand side: its pricing FAQ says Veel adds no separate marketplace fee on top of the subscription. Its creator page lists a 2.5% platform fee that creators pay for payment and platform services, lower as they level up. viral.app charges brands 3% on each payout and takes nothing from creators, who may still pay a fee for some payout methods, such as PayPal or international bank transfers.
Yes. Veel Inc. is a California company based in San Francisco, led by founder and CEO Dileep Dhakal, with an office in Kathmandu that opened in December 2025. It says 450+ brands use it (300+ on one page), lists 550K+ verified creators and says it has paid creators $12M+; those are its own figures. On October 2, 2026 its creator app rated 4.6 from 36 ratings on the US App Store and 3.5 from 58 reviews on Google Play, with 10K+ downloads. Its claimed Trustpilot page had no reviews yet.
Its public pages don't describe it. Creators set their own rates, creator payout campaigns pay custom rates, and affiliate programs pay commission on sales; its Creator Pricing tool uses CPM only to estimate what a creator should charge. viral.app works out pay from views with base pay, CPM tiers, bonuses and caps, and you can test the deal on a creator's recent videos first.
Yes, in local currency across 121+ countries, with tax handled, per its pages. They disagree on which plans get it: its compare table ticks global payouts on every plan, the Launchpad card and one FAQ include them from Launchpad, and its payments FAQ says Pro and higher, with Starter limited to local payouts. Ask before you pick a plan. viral.app pays creators in 180+ countries on every plan, through a merchant of record.
Veel says you own every video you approve and get full usage rights from day one, with commercial ad rights and Spark Ads and Meta Advantage+ whitelisting in the creator agreement, and licensed music from Epidemic Sound. Its terms of service (section 10, last updated October 17, 2025) also give Veel a perpetual, sublicensable license to anything users post to its services. On viral.app, rights are whatever you agree with the creator, and viral.app claims none.
For larger plans and partners. Its Enterprise plan lists API and webhooks and an MCP endpoint, its Elite card lists MCP connections, and its partner page offers a creator API to tech platforms. Launchpad and Pro don't list one. viral.app includes its API and MCP server on Ultra and Scale.
The Veel app for iOS and Android is free to join, with an optional subscription the US App Store lists at $24.99 a month or $239.99 a year. Creators apply to briefs, deliver in the app and are paid into the Veel Wallet when the brand approves, then withdraw to a bank in local currency, within 24 hours per Veel. Its creator page lists a 2.5% platform fee. For paid UGC work in any country, where viral.app takes no cut of your pay, join the Canvas UGC marketplace.
Veel says its platform comes without a long-term contract. Plans renew until cancelled, in your account or through support, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the current paid term (terms, section 6). Enterprise offers monthly and annual terms without multi-year lock-ins. viral.app plans can be cancelled any time, effective at the end of the billing period.
Yes, when the job is running creators who keep posting and paying them on the views they earn. viral.app can replace Veel for that or sit beside it: some teams buy content and run affiliates on Veel, and track and pay their posting creators in viral.app, where any public account is tracked from its URL.
Choose Veel if you want one subscription for content with rights, a large creator pool, affiliate links and codes, video on your product pages and posting to your channels, and you pay creators per piece or per sale rather than per view. Its free Starter lets you test a first UGC campaign for 21 days.
Yes. Post a job on the Canvas UGC marketplace, and creators apply with full profiles: portfolio videos, connected social accounts, languages and location. AI Matches ranks the creators who best fit each live job, and you can invite them. Review applications, chat with applicants, hire, and pay through the integrated payout system. Every plan includes unlimited applicants, and your plan sets how many jobs stay live at once. The 3% payout fee is paid by your team; none of it comes out of creator pay, though creators may pay a fee for some payout methods, such as PayPal or international bank transfers.
Yes. Payout rules combine base pay per video by platform, a fixed salary, CPM tiers and milestone bonuses, with caps and view windows. viral.app works out each payout from tracked views, you approve it, and creators claim it with one link.
No. viral.app keeps customer environments strictly separate and does not use a customer's non-public data, such as tracked accounts, prompts or search queries, to generate results for other customers. The details are in the viral.app privacy policy.
Yes. viral.app tracks TikTok videos and photo carousels, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels and Snapchat Spotlight from any public account's URL, without a creator login. Numbers refresh every 24 or 12 hours by plan, with custom times on Scale and up to every hour on Enterprise.
It depends on the job. Veel's own comparison weighs it against Billo, Insense, Cohley, Aspire, Upfluence, Trend, JoinBrands, CreatorIQ and Influee. viral.app fits when creators post every week and get paid on views. Insense fits buying content deal by deal with managed services, Collabstr booking creators at a set price per post, JoinBrands e-commerce content and TikTok Shop, and Growi creators paid on TikTok Shop, Shopify and Amazon sales.
